With meltingly tender pieces of beef slowly simmered in a rich red chile sauce (the Spanish Colorado translates as “red-colored”) layered in fresh corn tortillas with pickled onion and cilantro and brightened by a squeeze of lime, these tacos are stuffed with flavor. They might take a little while to make, but they’ll give even your favorite taco truck a run for its money!

I received my first box this week and I’m in love! I like to use meal delivery services during busy seasons of life and to get new recipe ideas, and this is far better than any other service I’ve tried (HelloFresh, Blue Apron, Home Chef, Every Plate, Hungryroot).

Here’s what I love:
+ supporting local farmers and small businesses
+ easy to follow recipes
+ very little packaging (one of my biggest gripes with the big companies)
