Baharat, which literally just means “spices” in Arabic, is used to refer to any number of spice blends throughout the Middle East, all of them made with a blend of savory and sweet spices like cumin, coriander, allspice, and cinnamon, among others. In this quick weeknight meal, our special baharat blend seasons sauteed ground beef, served over steamed whole wheat bulgur along with a simple tomato + cucumber salad and a creamy feta + yogurt sauce.
