The perfect Mother’s Day brunch! Likely originating in Spain and most popular in American diners, French toast is a perennial breakfast favorite. Ours are made with thick slabs of artisan brioche bread dredged in a rich custard of eggs and cream then gently pan-fried, served topped with maple syrup and whipped cream, with juicy breakfast sausage on the side.
